Marie Dontenville, the fourth child of Nicolas Dontenville and Philomena Kleinprintz was born in Dieffenbach-au-Val June 20, 1889. She was two years old when she immigrated with her parents in 1891. Shortly after graduating from High School Marie met her future husband Arthur Kebeck through her sister Katherine's husband Karl Koppel. Following their marriage Arthur became a magazine printer. They began family life in Brooklyn. Their first child was stillborn in March 1909.
They eventually moved to the Borough of Queens, New York City where their second and third children were born. Lillian was born in Woodhaven in 1910 and Arthur Jr. was born in Richmond Hill in 1922. Following Arthur's retirement from the printing business in the early 1950's, Arthur and Marie and their married children and their families moved to San Diego, California where Arthur became involved in prefab housing which was popular at the time. Marie died in San Diego on April 20, 1965 and Arthur on December 5, 1975
