Anna, the fourth of six children of August Dontanville and Melanie Duffner, was born in Pasadena in 1901. She married Robert C. Byrd in Saint Andrew's Church in Pasadena on February 3, 1921.Three children are known to have been born to their marriage. Jack, born September 5, 1925, died in Los Angeles County May 16, 1980. A son, James, may have lived in the Venice Area in the late 1980s. A daughter Joanne may have lived in National City, California. This researcher has no further information on the children of Anna and Robert Byrd and their descendants.
